My name is Chris Bone. My husband Chris and I live in the picturesque Meon Valley where we walk our two Labradoodles Darcey and Harper. We have been showing and breeding cats for over 40 years. Originally, we started with the Siamese, hence our pedigree prefix, Sykris, a combination of ‘Sy’ for Siamese and ‘Kris’ our first names.
After years of showing and breeding Siamese, we fell in love with our first Burmese kitten, Bambino Iced Spice, a lilac tortie who fast became a Champion. We also bought Bambino Marigolde, a silky chocolate who became Grand Champion. These two girls were from my good friend Mrs Barbara Boizard-Neil and thus the Sykris Burmese line was born. All our cats are registered with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) and we follow strict testing for Hypocalaemia on our breeding cats as well as being a Feline Leukaemia (FeLV) and Feline Immune Deficiency (FiV) free home.
